Why make a site like this? It’s a lot of work and a lot of time. You’d think that the reason must be pretty important, right? Well, you’d be 110% correct. As far as I’m concerned, my website is one of the most important things I’ve ever done.

Let me explain.

I’ve been a biker for nearly two decades. I’ve ridden offroad, onroad, and somewhere in between. Thunderstorms, hot winds, urban – I’ve been there. Sportbikes, big cruisers, dual purpose bikes – I’ve ridden or owned just about every type of bike.

I love motorcycles and motorcycling and I wanted to share some of the lessons I’ve learned over the years.

I’ve also seen horrible accidents that could have been avoided and injuries that were completely unnecessary. I’ve seen people drive while drinking, doing stunts on public roads, and treating the road like a racetrack.

I don’t want people who are coming into this hobby and lifestyle to pick up those habits. I definitely don’t want people cutting their lives short because they had the wrong info.

So this site is about giving you what you need in order to enjoy the excitement and wonderful experiences of riding a motorcycle, while lessening or eliminating the chance that you’ll get hurt or into trouble.

If you think this site accomplishes those goals, then please share it with your friends and acquaintances who are also into biking. I want biking to be a sport, hobby, and lifestyle that doesn’t need to have a cloud hanging over it.

So read up, gear up, and ride on. Biking is a pastime that should never die and only the riders can keep it alive. That’s really ultimately what this site is about.
